1. Overview
This policy applies to the AI Video Factory website and the studio on the same site. We only collect what we need to provide the service, and we will not use your data for purposes not described here.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: a device id for anonymous accounts; if you register, also your email and a hashed password.
- Processing summaries: caption text, scripts, cover thumbnails, and similar summaries generated locally in the Free browser session, stored only on this device for history.
- Usage records: run counts and quota state, used to compute Free quota; stored in this browser by default.
- Device and browser information: browser type, OS, and language preference, used for compatibility.
- Cookies and local storage: used to remember language and anonymous account state. See section 8.
3. Anonymous accounts
On first visit we assign an anonymous account. The id lives in your browser LocalStorage, so you can use the free quota without giving personal information. History and quota for that account are tied to that browser. If you clear cache or switch devices, the anonymous account and its records cannot be recovered. Registration is mainly for login, order binding, and renewal notices. It does not sync Free videos or processing history to the cloud.
4. Storage and retention

Free video, audio recognition, and synthesis all run in your browser. Files are not uploaded to our public processing servers. When the built-in browser translator is unavailable, we may send caption text (not the video file) to a third-party translation API for that job. After you upgrade to Plus, processing happens in a dedicated space provisioned for you and is not shared with other users.
5. How we use data
We use collected information only to provide and improve AI processing, compute and show your quota, troubleshoot issues, and keep accounts secure. We do not use your video content to train general models that are open to the public.
6. When we share data
Except with your explicit consent, as required by law, or as needed to complete payment and invoicing, we do not sell or provide your personal information to third parties.
7. Your rights
You may view, correct, or delete account information and processed content at any time via settings or support, or close the account and clear associated data.
8. Cookies and local storage
We use LocalStorage to save language preference, anonymous account ids, and similar data on your device only. You can delete these local records anytime by clearing browser data.
9. Children
The service is intended for adult creators with full legal capacity. If you are a minor, please use it under a guardian's guidance.
10. Policy changes
We may update this policy for legal or product reasons. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email.
