We take the security of your resume and personal data seriously.
How we handle data
ResumeAIX stores resume content in your browser (localStorage) and does not upload it to our servers. This site has no accounts, cloud sync, or membership system.
On-device AI
AI features call the on-device model (Gemini Nano) via the Chrome Prompt API. Inference runs on your device; the first time, the browser may download the model locally. We do not collect your resume text because of this.
Your control
- Clear local data anytime in the workspace
- You decide whether to export or share a PDF
- Clearing site data in your browser deletes the local resume cache
Third-party services
Pages may load fonts, icons, and other CDN assets. The on-device model is distributed and updated by the browser vendor, not by our servers.
Analytics
We use a self-hosted Matomo instance to collect anonymous usage data (page views, exports, AI feature use) to improve the product. Requests are forwarded through a same-origin proxy and do not include resume text, names, or contact details.
